Scope and Contents This survey map showing the extent of the Loveridge Patent is a copy of an original prepared for the benefit of Michael Van Vechten, Alexander MacDowel, Temperance Loveridge, and Hannah Loveridge in 1718. The copy was probably produced in the late 1790s and overlays features from the older original map, including a memorandum explaining the purpose of the subdivision, alongside features which didn't exist when the original was prepared. Scope and Contents Map shows the boundaries of a patent located in the modern Town of Cairo along the upper main branch of the Shingle Kill Creek. The patent was originally granted to "Lieutentant Duncan" and Neal McClains and Doctor Malachai Streat. Ephraim Darby completed a survey of the parcel in August 1794. Scope and Contents Map is a detailed survey of a public highway surveyed in 1850 by John Van Vechten now known as Vedder Mountain Road. The road spans a gap crossing between Cauterskill Road and the road to Madison [Leeds] in the Town of Catskill. Homes of residents living along the highway are shown to orient the map, and are also referenced in the description of the survey. Homes shown include those of Richard Ecklor, Levi Plank, Sarah Brandow, the Lampmans, James Moore, and the Burgh House.

Scope and Contents Map is a survey of a lot of land in Jefferson Heights lying along the Susquehanna Turnpike [Route 23B]. Included in the survey are the lots of James Stevens and of Columbus Stevens. No buildings are shown and no points of reference other than an intersecting road along the Turnpike.

Scope and Contents Map contains a color-coded survey of 1,666 acres of land jointly purchased by the Myres [Myers] and Wynkoop Families. The tract purcahsed fell on both sides of the Albany/Ulster County Line and was situated along the Caterskill [Kaaterskill] Creek just east of the modern hamlet of Palenville, possibly in the vicinity of High Falls. Scope and Contents Map is a small survey of the boundaries of Henry Blanchard's lands at Kiskatom, probably in the early 19th century. Of note is that a church is drawn in the corner of the map as a reference point to orient the survey. Whether this is the Kiskatom Reformed Church or not requires further examination.
